Carrot Pharma Recruitment was established in February 2006 by Martin and Debbie Anderson, both of whom have significant commercial experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, spanning agency and client sides, in a range of sales, marketing and market research positions.

Carrot’s USP is that we focus purely on roles in these specific sectors where we’ve had personal experience in the past, either directly or indirectly. This means that we understand very clearly what our clients are looking for and indeed we are well placed to provide our candidates with a very knowledgeable service. This approach has served us extremely well thus far and our reputation has continued to grow from strength to strength with many clients and candidates relaying very postive feedback.

Our approach to recruitment is slightly different to the norm in that we involve ourselves very much in your industry. We regularly attend and sponsor industry seminars, we attend conferences and we contribute articles to publications such as Pharma Marketing Magazine and Research. We take the opportunity to network with industry figures, to learn about the industry and how it’s developing. This continuous dialogue with the industry allows us to provide you with a more targeted and meaningful service.

We work in small teams, consisting of two or three experienced consultants. Each sector which we work in has its own team and within each team there will be a mixture of recruitment experience and industry experience – this way we get the best of both worlds, continuously refining our recruitment processes to offer a more efficient service, whilst retaining the industry and sector knowledge which gives us that key edge.

We pride ourselves in being very knowledgeable and proactive but also quite informal in our outlook and therefore very approachable. We tend to form very good relations with both clients and candidates which ultimately lead to positive outcomes for all involved.
